OUR STORY
Seven Labels began while my partner and I were in the painful process of buying a house in Auckland. It was a difficult and disastrous exercise, and when it was finally done, I was determined to make our new home beautiful.
After moving out from a rental with a chaotic kitchen, I knew where to start – with a stylish set of jars and labels to properly organise my pantry and shelves with herbs, spices, and foodstuffs. There weren’t too many products on offer that jumped out at me, and with budget constraints an issue in our new household, I decided to find a way to create my own labels.
With a lot of homework and exhaustive experimentation with multiple suppliers, I found what would work for me – simple, water-resistant labels that would reshape our kitchen with a fresh, modern look. Once the process was done, and our pantry, shelves, and draws were reorganised, our home environment was made much more practical.
Family complimented us first, then friends and guests, and with that confidence boost I decided to set up Seven Labels for others who might be excited about also restyling their kitchens. My hope is that Seven Labels will become a reliable point of call for New Zealanders looking for a little more organisation in their home environments.
